I chose this photo because I like the straight on angle it has.  It is very simple and it grabs your eye.  I like that the paintings of flowers are decaying on this forgotten bench.
I chose this picture because it is my first negative scan.  I’m used to processing film photos in the darkroom so this exercise was different and fun.  I like this picture because you question what the subject is.
I chose this picture because I like the very simple composition.  I like that the focus is only on the top.  I am very drawn to close ups that force the viewer to question the subject.
I chose this picture because of it’s really beautiful lighting.  It’s a pretty simple composition and subject.  The lighting is really what caught my eye.
I chose this picture because of the differing focus.  I like that only a certain section of the rocks and pavement is fully in focus.  I also like that it is not centered.
I chose this picture because it is different than my usual photograph.  I usually have high contrast in my pictures but in this one it is a subtle contrast.  I like the emotion within the photograph.
I chose this picture because of it’s simplicity.  I like the contrast between the blues and the diagonals of the buildings.  I like that it is sharp enough that you can tell what the subjects are, but not sharp enough to detract from the design of the photo.
I chose this photo because I really like the contrast. I like that everything is really light except for the dirtiness on the subject.  It adds a beautiful contrast to the photo.  In a way, the contrast adds some elegance to a subject that would never come across as an elegant thing in your everyday world.
